For more information, please visit the Lifeline Express website.

EyeCare America is seeking Chinese American Ophthalmologists to assist in patient care, act as spokespeople, and to review translated material.

EyeCare America is currently launching in CA and NY, but they will continue to promote the Chinese language option in other states beyond CA and NY, so any Chinese speaking ophthalmologist is welcome to volunteer for this. They will provide talking points, program and interviewing information to all spokespersons.

Founded in 1985, EyeCare America is a public service foundation of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.

Its mission is to reduce avoidable blindness and severe visual impairment by raising awareness about eye disease and care, providing free eye health educational materials and facilitating access to medical eye care.

In addition to online educational materials, EyeCare America offers eye care programs for which individuals may qualify.

To apply, please download the enrollment form here.
